Electronic Filing
Effective October 14, 2008, the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims adopted the Case Management/Electronic
Case Filing System (CM/ECF), and related E-Rules to govern the electronic filing of
documents in cases before the Court. Use of the Court's electronic filing system is mandatory for all represented parties
unless granted an exemption. Training documents for CM/ECF are available on this web site.
Self-represented parties may email pleadings to
[email protected]. Please see Rule 25(b)(3)(B)(i)
regarding filing by email.
Case initiating documents, such as a Notice of Appeal or a Petition for Extraordinary Relief, may be submitted via email. Represented parties may send to [email protected].

Also, if you are having problems e-filing and a deadline is approaching, you may email the PDF document to
[email protected].
